Cinema Metro
Located on Safiya Zaghloul Street,
It opened in 1949 and was built for and operated by M.G.M. The seating capacity is for 1,528 in stalls and balcony



The Amir Cinema opened in April 1952 with Bette Davis in “All About Eve” and was owned and operated by 20th Century Fox.
It had a seating capacity of 1,204 (614 Stalls & 590 Balcony).
Now divided into six screens, it is a venue that is used in the International Film Festival which is held annually in September.
The main programming is current Hollywood products.
